Philosophy of Curriculum Development:

Best practices state that curriculum development should be a cyclical process that is continuous and ever-evolving. In the cycle, all subjects find themselves active at all points in the process. The philosophy reflects the fact that we are always actively teaching and therefore engaged in the curriculum process so long as we are educators. The academic standards that the district has adopted are what drives this process.
