VFW Commander Tom Sharratt presented Cecelia Lyons, Ava Schmidt, Ben Roethel, Asa Jepson, and Brandon O’Neil with their certificates and checks as they finished in the top five for the Voice of Democracy Essay Contest. Asa Jepson (1st place) and Cecelia Lyons (2nd place) advance to the state level.
