Dear Parents/Guardians of Westby/Chaseburg Area Children,
Ensuring our children have access to nutritious meals is crucial for their growth and well-being. At the La Crosse Area Family YMCA, we are committed to supporting the health and development of our community's children.
We are delighted to announce a partnership with the Westby Area School District to offer a complimentary meal program for all students throughout the summer. This program provides a variety of fresh produce, dairy, proteins, and whole grain-rich items, ensuring that children have access to foods that are easy to prepare while on summer break
Bulk Meals will be available for pick up in your community every Monday starting on June 8 , and the last pick up of the summer will be August 17th.
Chaseburg Ballpark, located at 402 Depot St, Chaseburg, WI 54621, from 5:00-6:00 PM
Here are the key details of the program:
Free for all families: There are no qualifications required to participate.
Nutritious variety: Each week, families will receive a variety of fresh produce, dairy, proteins, and whole grain-rich items that are individually packaged to make meal time a breeze.
Encouraging children's presence: It is encouraged that children be present during the initial pick up. However, parents or guardians may pick up on their behalf if they can provide proof of household size.
Respect for privacy: We do not collect any information not necessary to the program from families, ensuring privacy is protected. We will ask that you provide only child’s first name, age, and phone number.
Flexibility: Families can join the program at any time throughout the summer.
