Hi! My name is Amber Crary-Pierce and I am so excited to be joining the Westby Area School District as the new Middle School Science Teacher!
I have been teaching middle school science for nearly 12 years. I’m a Richland Center native and a UW-La Crosse graduate. After college, I spent some time teaching in Minnesota before returning to live in Viroqua six years ago. Before joining the Westby team, I taught middle school science in the Wauzeka-Steuben School District.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our two daughters (9 and 5 years old), our family dog (Rey) and bearded dragon (Toothless). In my free time, I enjoy reading, playing board games, building Legos, and baking.
I’m excited for this next chapter at Westby and to become part of the school community. I’ve already enjoyed seeing the pride people have in the Westby Area School District, and I’m looking forward to getting to know the students, families, and staff who make this such a great place to be!
