Due to inclement weather, the Westby Area School District will have a flexible learning day today, April 3. Becuase of our 2 school closures earlier this year and our 3 late starts/early releases, we will have a flexible learning day.
Due to worsening road conditions Westby Area Schools will be dismissing 2 hours early today, Tuesday, April 2.
This is a reminder that Thursday, March 21 will be a 2 hour early release. There is no school on Friday, March 22 (Staff Inservice Day). Enjoy spring break! Classes resume Tuesday, April 2. This is election day, so please remember to make time to vote!
Due to inclement weather, there will be a 2 hour delay today, Feb. 15. Highways are relatively clear, any roads that have been touched are quite good, but untouched backroads are very slippery.
February 9 will be a full day of school. Originally, it was listed as an early release, but it will now be a full day of school.
Tomorrow, Thursday 1/18 is a scheduled 2 hour early release. Friday, 1/19 is an inservice day. Note that February 9 will be a full day of school to account for the late start that occurred last week. We have one more "built-in" snow day before we need to use flexible learning.

Coon Valley Families, this morning the district received a call from our Sheriff Department informing us of a domestic situation on the 100 block of Lien Street. As I type this the Sheriff department confirmed that there was no danger to the community and that school should proceed as normal. Steve Michaels, District Superintendent
